Kim graduated from The University of Florida, Gainesville with a Bachelor of Health Science in Physical Therapy in 1979. She worked as a staff therapist at Clearwater Community Hospital, quickly becoming the director of that department until she and her husband Ted moved to Madison to raise their family in 1988.
Kim owned Allied Therapy of Madison for 18 years prior to its merger with TOSPT in 2019. As a physical therapist in a rural community she has treated a wide variety of illness and injury, patients young and old and feels she has put a lot of tools for treatment in her belt with this experience. She has enjoyed helping people in this small community, many of whom she sees again at church, schools and the grocery store. Her patients are not just statistics to her, and she finds it very rewarding to see the outcome of her efforts—friends and neighbors who are able to return to their normal activities.
Kim and her husband, Ted love to follow the Gators and Madison County sports. Their Bucket List is to attend a game at every Major League Baseball Park, and so far they have been to 20 out of 30. They love to travel and experience new adventures.
