Located on the west side of the Tallahassee Outpatient Center, the original Tallahassee Orthopedic & Sports Physical Therapy clinic is on Capital Medical Boulevard. The front door parking and the spacious, comfortable waiting room give our patients and fitness members easy access to the gymnasium. The 2800 sq. ft. gym is outfitted with a large variety of aerobic and strengthening equipment such as treadmills, elliptical fitness crosstrainers, stationary bicycles, upper body ergometers, stair masters and eleven types of nautilus resistance machinery. Computer enhanced Medex back and neck specific and Biodex isokinetic knee/shoulder/ankle specific testing and rehabilitation equipment are also part of the gymnasium. Around the perimeter are five exercise and treatment mats for attended modality treatment, manual procedures and exercise instruction. This area is surrounded by five self contained, private treatment rooms, a massage room and a roo m set up for progressive traction.

Conveniently located adjacent to the gym are Therapy Specialists, the hand and upper extremity specialty center at TOSPT, and the Industrial Rehabilitation Center designed specifically for these purposes.

A full sized (20’ x 40’) therapeutic pool maintaining a constant temperature of ~ 92 ° is equipped with a hydraulic lift for non-ambulatory patients and various types of aquatic conditioning apparatus. Spacious dressing rooms with showers and lockers are available to all of our patients and fitness members.

The Capital Medical Boulevard clinic is served by 8 Physical Therapists; 1 Physical Therapist/ Athletic Trainer, Certified; 2 Occupational Therapists/Certified Hand Therapists, 1 Physical Therapy Assistant, 2 Certified Personal Trainers and several physical therapy technicians.
